Did You Know That:

-The HPCC has learned from a reliable source at Economic Development Corporation (EDC), one of the Queens West project's sponsoring agencies, that the grade west of 5th Street will be raised 1 to 4 feet above the present levels and that this will become the legal grade. Implications? Will the existing community then become bellow legal grade?

-The community's repeated written request to change the height and location of the building planned for 51st Avenue & 2nd Street that would totally block the existing view corridor has been ignored.

-Will the strip park and fill become a dumping ground? Money for the maintenance of the park is in question and there is no schedule for the 6-lane "road to nowhere" between Vernon Boulevard and 5th Street.
