1) I remember it being described as a Battery Park, but it is very industrial and 'techno' looking... a lot narrower than they said it was going to be and I don't think it's going to win any big architectual awards. It is an ugly design, very urban. It did open up the sky-line nicely...but everything will be blocked once the buildings go up. I thought the nice part of the wall was suppose to face out, to face the neighbors, but we got stuck with the ugly side... we're looking at screws, bolts, wedges... and electrical boxes. It is a very narrow strip park, there's no warmth or feel to it at all and, if this is any indication of how the project is going to go, it's going to be one huge concrete slab... these big buildings with this industrial park that they've just put in are not going to be an asset to the community.

2) I think that these people should start listening to the Alternate Plan, and they should start considering the fact that this stuff is not going up the way that they (QW) said it would.
