Sandy Rodriguez

1) I think it is a joke. Queens West went against everything we asked for, and they didn't do what they promised. I would never bring my family there, it's just too small. There is a sandbox for the babies and that's unsanitary. It's a park in full sun, with three basketball courts, handball courts and yet there is no water fountain? And who is that park for? It's not for parents with young children--it's not for seniors. It's for men and boys. It is not a "community park." My children will stay in John Andrews park where it is safe and where there is shade, water and equipment for kids.

2) Everybody in the community would get some enjoyment out of what they propose--it is perfect. It would be great for all ages. It isn't too late to change the plans so families and children can get some use out of the park.
