Alternate Plan To Show At Pratt Institute

Pratt Institute recently invited the Coalition to participate in the schooląs Renewing Hope Restoring Vision exhibition scheduled for this spring. This multi-media examination of community-based planning efforts is scheduled for display from March through May 1997 in the schooląs Brooklyn and Manhattan galleries.

The potential themes include neighborhood and community, sustainability/preservation planning, and social justice.

Economic Development

This exploration will reveal both the successes and the struggles of neighborhoods confronting self-preservation and development issues in an often insensitive urban planning system. Graduate students enrolled in exhibition design will work with the community groups to fabricate the displays.
