Helicopters Buzz Neighborhood

There is an on-going problem regarding helicopter flight patterns. Many helicopters fly extremely low, directly over homes in the area. They rattle the windows and endanger the safety of this and surrounding neighborhoods. They should follow the law and fly at higher altitudes, and over the East River.

The 60th Street heliport has been ordered to close. This could possibly increase the 34th Street heliport traffic.

Are you bothered by helicopter traffic? If so, report your complaints to the Federal Aviation Administration at (718) 995-5755.
