>my son came home tonight with an old matchbook manufactured by Lion Match Inc. He found it in a parking lot. The front of the book reads "Outside by Flying Clipper--Pan American World Airways. Inside of the book is a lot of text "Pan American--First to Offer scheduled air service in Alaska, First on the Pacific, First on the Atlantic, First throughout Latin-America, First 'Round the World." It has a little flap on the inside that opens to show this text. Inside is a picture of a Clipper plane. Any idea how old this is? There is a fair amount of artwork on the matchbook. It appears to be in near pristine condition, with all of the matches intact.
