The asian long horned beetle, (Scientific name:Anoplophora
Glabripennis), that has caused the loss of hundreds of trees in Greenpoint,
Brooklyn has been spotted on 47th Road by the USDA Forest Service. I'll
be posting some literature and more photos on this site. This insect is
a serious threat.
